FundsNetwork
FundsNetwork is an investment supermarket provided by Fidelity, which offers clients access to more than 1,100 funds from over 55 investment providers both inside and outside of an ISA.
FundsNetwork can be used to house most existing client investment holdings including ISAs, PEPs and investments directly into any of the funds. We believe that fund supermarkets offer distinct advantages for our clients over placing business direct with fund providers.
The Benefits of FundsNetwork
- The wide range of funds and providers available means you do not have to limit the number of providers that you use for each investment that you make giving you the opportunity to spread risk and diversify asset classes.
- Initial costs can be reduced - plan managers charge up to 6% as an initial charge but as FundsNetwork is a wholesale supplier of funds they can give discounts on these charges. Also, by buying online, the initial charge can be reduced further through SBJ relinquishing any commission payable.
- FundsNetwork gives our clients the opportunity to switch holdings quickly, efficiently and cost effectively with a nominal administration charge of 0.25% of the fund value charged. In comparison, if dealing directly with providers, holdings can take up to 3 weeks to transfer and initial charges can be up to 6%.
- Simplified reporting means that you will receive a single performance report for all your funds as well as a valuation from SBJ every 6 months. Through the reporting and management tools SBJ provide a more efficient, timely and effective client service.
- No extra charges are involved as FundsNetwork receives payment from fund providers for administration of the funds.
